This AV Controller app will turn your iPhone/iPod touch/iPad into a Wi-Fi enabled remote control for your Yamaha network products(*). This App provides you the flexibility to control the available inputs, volume, mute and power commands. It lets users change a song from Internet Radio, USB and command FM/AM tuners or any other internally available source. Music Play feature allows you to stream music tracks directly from your iPhone/iPod touch/iPad to Yamaha network products to so you can enjoy high quality music through your AV system.
Screen sizes of Tablet devices are also supported.

Since the newest updates having issues with one particular amp always disconnecting. Never had that problem before.
Update. In regards to one of my av receivers always disconnecting I really meant not being listed in the app itself. I figured out after reading yamaha troubleshooting my amp was going to sleep so had to turn on sleep setting in the network settings. Now it can see it all the time. Pats to read instructions. Great app would recommend it to yamaha owners.
Have 8.1.1 iOS with axv1077 works rather well. The thing is rather impressive.
Running an Aventage RX-A840 on iOS 8.1.2 and it works flawlessly ... Awesome app !!!
If you have a Yamaha receiver that can leverage this app, it’s a must. I love being able to sit in my backyard and control my stereo via my iPhone.
Adds something cool to home electronics. Keep it up. Great app. I love this app makes my receiver hook up to my house and make my movie room even better. Thank keep up the great updates in the app.
Some bad moments
Appli get very boring very fast. No direct access to library. I expected a lot more from Yamaha especially after purchasing a $2000.00 receiver!!!!

this app is not accessible to visually impaired person using their iPhone with voice over
no input selection nor effect control possible Using Apple recommendation for developers on app accessibility design would be of great help for people like me I would have the opportunity to really enjoy my music
The last version from the app usei to identify my receiver model RXV3900, it was working on both tablet and iPhone the app does not recognize my receiver anymore , ive tried to input the receiver ip and the app recognizes only his name soo now i am waiting to get a new version to corrente this.
Após a última atualização o app parou de funcionar. Não identifica o receiver mesmo ele estando recebendo as rádios e com o stand-by corretamente ajustado. ajustei o IP do aparelho e nada acontece. Socorro programadores de plantão.
Since april 2016 it stop working. Error 1001. It doesnt recognize the receiver.
Please UPDATE ASAP
The update to v4.50 does Not recognize my RX-V2067 any longer!
The app doesnt connect to my receiver anymore, the app is useless like this.
